In addition to the famous Schaller precision, the new LockMeister® tremolo a German forged and hardened C45 steel base plate for improved tone and sustain as well as superior tremolo performance and intonation.New technologies have enabled us to manufacture all components to unprecedented tolerances, giving the Schaller LockMeister® Tremolo the highest level of workmanship and durability. But our attention to detail didn't stop there. Through meticulous research we have found the perfect selection of pivot screws and tremolo springs. Through rigorous testing, we learned that all burnished surfaces are susceptible to corrosion. That's why all bolts, inserts and screws on our new Schaller LockMeister® tremolo are now black zinc-plated and black chrome-plated to improve appearance, feel and durability. All this leads to our world-famous Schaller longevity. The tremolo is mounted using special mounting bolts and metric thread inserts. These are provided with a fine thread. Optionally, we also offer height-adjustable wood screws for direct installation into the wooden body. In this case the insert is not required. The dimensions of our Tremolo LockMeister® correspond exactly to the dimensions of the Floyd Rose Tremolo. You can easily replace your Floyd Rose Tremolo with our new LockMeister® Tremolo. This also applies to all spare parts! The backs of the saddles are numbered 0, 1 and 2. The 0 stands for the A, D and g strings, the 1 for the E and b strings and the 2 for the B and e strings.
