Description: Scottish Peat Incense & Stone Burner . Kits consist of 6 sods or peat chunks, about 1" x 1" x 1/2" [They can vary slightly,] and a stone slate burner. Directions on the box.... The boxes are not always pristine, as they travel quite a distance! NOTE: These make great gifts, and often there are requests to not include invoices. Rest assured, unless specifically requested to include an invoice, there never are any included, wherever this is sent. Hand made in County Tipperary, Ireland, a family business, and the original, secret proprietary formula, to not only burn nicely, but to not alter the fragrance in any way. The turf or peat is harvested from the Annaholty Bog, County Tipperary. There is NO difference between the Irish pieces and the Scottish, all made in Ireland. There is a fine, short video that can be found on the most popular video site. And as they explain, this product is often used at Irish Weddings, and Wakes. The incense is a semi-cube, basically. It takes a bit more effort to get going, but once it is properly lit, it burns very well, indeed. For best results, keep a lighter flame on a corner of the cube, gently blowing until you see a decent-sized section of the corner glowing red, maybe as long as 15 seconds, or so. I prefer to stand it on an end, at least at first, not flat. And it gets very hot! [Please avoid using a saucer or plate, as either could crack.]
