These were designed to resemble the jerseys worn by the Kraken during the Winter Classic, which pay homage to the Seattle Metropolitans, the first team to win the Stanley Cup in the United States in 1917. The gloves pull in the signature Kraken colors of midnight blue, ice blue, and red alert as well as a vintage cream. The barber pole stripe design harkens back to the uniforms of multiple historic teams from the Pacific Northwest.
