Description: Serotta Cappuccino Town Bike (steel) Ben Serotta established a long-standing partnership with photographer, John Kelly, providing him with bikes for two decades of photo shoots (Pearl Izumi, CoorsLight, Sugoi, and Serotta’s own promotional imagery). Now, John Kelly is beginning to part with his fleet of well cared for and much loved Serottas. When Ben Serotta really appreciated a certain paint job, he’d give it a nickname. This particular bike he referred to as his “Capuccino Bike,” distinguished by the custom-applied “dusting” of brown flecks sprinkled over the creamy-white top tube. Constructed of Serotta’s proprietary ColoradoConcept tubing, this classic steel frame is constructed using custom-configured steel lugs and proprietary Serotta/Columbus tubing. This frame would originally have been spec'd as a Serotta Cyclocross bike (cantilever brakes, tire clearance for 35-38, depending on tire manufacturer). Currently set up with a flat handlebar, a rear rack, and integrated pump peg, the Cappuccino is perfect for errands, for classes, for town . . . or for conversion back to the gravel road purposes for which it was originally designed.
