Neither seller nor online search is certain of the manufacturer, as he has no expertise in deciphering Japanese characters and image search doesn't answer the question, either; if anyone here can enlighten him as to their maker he will be pleased to revise this listing appropriately. What he can say is that the knives are lightweight, in half polished and half satin finish, and that their blades are no more than 1-2 mm thick, giving edges that are very sharp.
