Description: Set of Japanese Invasion Money (JIM) for the Philippines, 100 Pesos, with block #5, #6, and #7. This is a set of 3 x 100 Pesos notes, with 3 different block numbers. There is a total of 3 notes, which I am selling as a single set. According to my records, the 100 Pesos block numbers range from 1 to 36. The hard to find numbers are 15, 20, 21, and 25. 2 of these notes have the JAPWANCAP (Japanese War Notes Claimants Association of the Philippines) stamp on them. In 1967, this Philippine organization made a very serious attempt to obtain funds from the United States for redemption of millions of Pesos in Japanese occupation currency. Notes with JAPWANCAP had a number of different stampings. The 3rd notes does not have this stamp. These notes have about uncirculated and show minimal handling marks. They are crisp!
