Description: From what little I've read based on the marks Spode Copeland’s China plate possibly dates from the late 19th to early 20th century. A printed combination of “Spode” on top, “Copeland’s China” below, and “England” at the bottom was commonly used from the late 19th century onwards. The indented letter “B” and the number “30” are possibly factory marks used for quality control or to indicate the specific mold or batch. These marks can sometimes help narrow down the production period, but they are less specific than the printed marks. To get a more precise date, you might consider consulting a detailed reference guide like "Spode & Copeland Marks, visiting a local library or perhaps if you have more time check out possible websites that specializes in antique pottery marks. I don't really know what to call this pattern, it looks like the people are in a courtyard that's in gold, but the plate color is not really white, looks like butter because it's not what I call yellow & not even off white, the bottom is white. I did check out Cotswold Antiques website that has a basic history timeline regarding Spode & Copeland. But I was unable to fine this exact pattern. This listing was previously owned & used. There is no original packaging or papers for this listing in order for us to give more precise information on this listing, especially regarding when it was made or released. It does scratches, light blemishes, especially at the edges, on the back I put arrows of what looks like dimples of missing glaze. I did not find any chips or cracks on this plate. It measures approximately 10 5/8 inches in diameter and approximately 7/8 inches from table to edge of plate. Please look carefully at all photos for this listing is sold as is.
