Description: This listing is for a 1996 Squier Pro Tone in Excellent/mint condition. The guitar is 27 years old so has a few very minor nicks and dents but the pictures speak for themselves. Introduced in 1996 and then discontinued two year later - this rare little Squier has tons of mojo. These are actually very high quality guitars with Ash bodies, Maple Neck and Rosewood Fretboard, Fender Stamped Saddles and Alnico single coil pickups. The body is solid ash for great sustain and tone. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features rosewood fingerboard with 21 frets. A trio of clear and crisp Alnico single coil pickups deliver classic Strat tone. A vintage style trem (with Fender saddles!) and sealed tuners keep it rock solid. The finish is Olympic White and is set off by a gorgeous Red Shell pickguard.
