Description: Free Shipping to the Continental USA! Up for sale is a vintage S&S Cycle Teardrop Air Cleaner Cover and Backplate. The polished aluminum Model 78 cover is an early version that has no markings inside. Cover is in very good overall condition as pictured. Cover is straight, nothing has been modified, no road rash. There is some surface pitting, discoloration and light surface marks that could be polished out if desired. The Model 177 backplate is in very good condition as pictured. Backplate is straight and threads are good. This particular version has two air bleed holes so it can be used on Super B, MGL, early Keihin butterfly and Bendix carbs. Simply plug the hole you are not using or make sure the gasket covers it. Comes with screws for the cover. A great part to top off your vintage ride! IMPORTANT FITMENT INFORMATION, PLEASE READ.
