Classic coin-dot pattern superimposed over a melon-ribbed body with applied handle. The body gradates from a rich ruby at the base, to a warm amber at the rim. The applied handle is clear. Beautiful coloration on this piece! From the estate of a well-known collector of Victorian glass in Illinois. Polished pontil mark on the underside. Rare piece. In excellent antique condition. No chips, cracks, flakes or repairs. Any flaw or roughness at the point where to the handle meets the body are from the piece's manufacture. Age-appropriate wear to the base. Measures 8" tall, and 7" from handle to spout. The base is appx. 3.25" across, and the opening at the rim is 4". Shipping is FREE in the Continental USA.
