Description: A beautiful example of craftsmanship, this small tine box is covered in refined and detailed carvings. Acanthus decoration relief with tiny puncture marks in the background with fluted bands around the top and bottom of the box set this tine apart. Second half of the 19th Century. Condition: very good; box is sturdy with evidence of original repair on lid, some old losses to the ends of two keepers (~1/8") of the lid and both keepers of the base. Dimensions: 4"high x 3.25" wide x 6.5"long
