Description: This uncirculated 250 gulden banknote was issued in 1988 and signed by Central Bank President Henk O. Goedschalk. It is an aqua, orange, and brown note that measures 150 mm x 72 mm. Its obverse side features the resistance fighter Anton de Kom with faya lob flowers, five soldiers with rifles, and a woman with a flag. Its reverse side features a toucan, hibiscus, heliconia, ginger, and faya lobi flowers, and a depiction of Anton de Kom delivering a speech to a crowd. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a toucan watermark.
