The Full-View series features clear body parts which display the models interior and allow car fans to enjoy its beauty. The 300 SL was released in 1954, the production sports car version of a phenomenally successful racing prototype from 1952. It featured an elegant body with gull wing doors, plus a lightweight multi-tubular space frame. A 3-liter inline-6 engine pioneered direct fuel injection. Its combination of looks and pioneering power makes it a favorite even in modern times. 1/24 scale plastic model assembly kit. Length: 188mm, width: 75mm, height: 53mm. The elegant 300 SL silhouette is captured by clear body, engine hood and gull wing door parts that can be left unpainted to allow appreciation of the detail underneath. This model features a breathtaking recreation of the complex multi-tubular space frame. The 3-liter inline-6 engine is depicted at a 45-degree angle, just as it was to allow it to fit under the low- profile hood of the actual car.
