Description: This is a poster commemorating the works of Paul Klee which are now a part of The Metropolitan Museum of Arts holdings. The German artists' career spanned from his student days in Berne in the 1890's to his death in Muralto-Locarno in 1940. He was a true heavyweight in the world of modern art as he suffused humanity and abstraction in many of his works. This poster marked the opening exhibition of Klees works after they were donated to The Metropolitan Museum of Art in 1988. The watercolor is entitled "Adam and Little Eve" and was painted in 1921. I will mail the poster rolled in a mailing tube without the matte so it will be uncreased and ready for framing. Thanks for looking.
