Description: For sale is a copy of The Essays of Ralph Waldo Emerson as published by The Limited Editions Club in 1934. The book is in very good condition. It shows evidence of minor foxing, particularly to the page ends (see photo). There is also a tiny pencil scribble to the front end paper (see photo). One of the pages had been bent (see photo). The exterior looks very good. There is some discoloration to the spine and staining of the label (see photo) and one corner has wear damage (see photo). The original slipcase is not included. Only 1,500 copies of this book were made and this is number 905 and is signed by legendary book maker John Henry Nash.
