Of course the standout track that spoke to me so clearly was “Broken Bones”. Who amongst us has not suffered ridicule or attacks because we had funny haircuts or simply thought differently? Here was a song talking about just that and also defiantly saying “you won’t change me”. Man it was a shield of sorts! The “Boston Not LA” songs led me to explore the back catalogue and I was hooked. Back in 87 I did a mail interview for my zine “Burly Obsession” and I was so stoked with how funny and kind he was. It made a big impression on me and I’m just as happy as can be to be finally doing a shirt for these Cape Cod legends!
