Description: This book is a first edition, third impression published in 1942 for the children’s book club. It was printed on wartime standard paper as noted on the inside page. This copy was my mother’s and she wrote her name and address on inside cover. Her Sunday school presented it to her and the page opposite her name has a taped on award and some other things on it… the rest of the book is in good condition as I see it. No markings or coloring in of illustrations. No dust jacket. A pretty rare book.
