Harcourt Brace and World only existed between 1960-1970. Based on the date code, this copy is more than likely a September 1970 1st edition printing that occurred late in the year (letter Z). First Edition simply implies that were no revisions made to the actual contents of the book. Also note that ISBN was not invented until the 1960s so be aware of false claims.
