Description: This is a 1980 publication of THE WORLD OF FARLEY MOWAT: A Selection From His Works- Edited and with an introduction by Peter Davison and published by Little, Brown Publ. It contains narratives from the 1950's through the 1970's and is divided geographically, with each chapter sometimes containing several stories. His most recognizable stories are Never Cry Wolf, People of the Deer, Lost in the Barrens, Woman in the Mists and A Whale for the Killing. The front and back endpages have an illustrated map of the geographical areas where the stories take place. The book is 338 pages and includes an introduction and bibliography. It has a dustjacket that has some fading and a taped tear near the binding on the front cover that is about 2 inches long. See photos. It was in a book sale and has a black mark on the bottom page edges to denote that. It is in very good condition, and with the exception of the tear in the DJ it has no wear.
