Born in Lawrence, Kansas (b.1941), he attended Wesleyan University, a small liberal arts college in Middletown, Connecticut, where he was one of only five art majors. He spent his junior year in Paris. Artist's paintings, posters and serigraphs are highly popular with public. His works have placed Thomas McKnight in an elite group of Contemporary artists.
