Vintage strat configuration, with 50's wiring. 50's wiring gives more interaction between volume and tone controls, and helps retain highs when you turn the volume down. Tones on neck and middle pickups the way strats originally came out of the Fender facility in the 50's. I do make this with a 5-way switch, as those famous 2 and 4 positions are just too good to leave out. If you really want to go old school with a 3 way switch let me know, and I'll build one for you. I also offer other assemblies, including Eric Johnson, David Gilmour, and Lincoln Brewster assemblies.
