Includes several additional pages of advertisements.In 1865, Exeter native William Robinson, who attended Phillips Exeter Academy and whose sister had no similar school, left money in his will to establish the school. From 1869 until 1955, the Robinson Seminary was the only public school in Exeter to serve post-elementary young women. The first girls attended co-ed high school in Exeter in 1956.Robinson Female Seminary burned in 1961. Overall in very good condition. Minor wear, old age toning, light soiling.
