Vintage 1950s MAJESTIC Lamp Fiberglass Shade Mid Century MCM Modern Lighting

Description: ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale an all-original vintage MAJESTIC table lamp complete with its original triple tier fiberglass lamp shade. Circa '50s. The base is constructed on concentric circular brass rings, and each has a black lacquered wooden accent piece running along the bottom edge (see photos). The shade accompanying the lamp has three tiers, and they vary in size from top to bottom, the top being the smallest, and the bottom being the largest (see photos). The shade is a coral color with beige and gold painted highlights applied to the surface. The framework of the shade is white, which is characteristic of Majestic Lamps. The lamp has two sockets, and each has its own individual pull chain, thus allowing one or both to the lit up independent of the other. The lamp still has its original green felt on the bottom of the base - we didn't attempt to remove it to check on whether or not there is a paper label underneath, but there should be! We've also included a photos in this listing of an original add which showcases this lamp among some others that the company produced. It's a wonderful lamp that is fitting for any modern interior setting! MEASUREMENTS: With the shade attached, the lamp stands approx. 30" tall x 22" wide x 12" deep. The brass rings are graduated in size, and they go from 15" in diameter (outer) to 13" in diameter (middle) and 11" in diameter (innermost). The triple tier shade is 13" tall, and also graduated in size, the top tier measuring approx. 18" wide x 8" deep, the middle tier 20" wide x 10" deep, and the lower tier 22" wide x 12" deep. The two light sockets are approx. 24" high (measured from the bottom of the base). Lastly, the oval shaped base measures approx. 12" wide x 6" deep. CONDITION: This was has been very well cared for over the years; in fact, I haven't seen one this clean in quite some time! Both the base and shade are in great condition. There are a few tiny spots of paint loss, but nothing major whatsoever. The brass is nice with no problems to report - it shows a nice patina consistent with age. The fiberglass shade is in excellent shape - no rips, holes, tears, stains, repairs, burn marks, etc. The lacing appears to be original - it is taut and intact all the way around. The electrical wiring looks to be original to the lamp, and appears to be in great shape - there are no frays, splits, exposed, hardened / brittle wires. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly encourage having the items inspected by a licensed professional prior to long-term use. NOTE: This lamp is very large and fragile. It will ship in two separate parcels - one will contain the base, and the other will contain the outer woven shade.
