Description: Beautiful vintage Betsey Johnson two piece skirt and blouse Circa 1980’s Punk Label. This set is the ultimate witchy Stevie Nicks ensemble and is so flowy and sexy! The set features a black floral mesh lace very full circle skirt with an elastic lined waistband. The front and back of the skirt’s waist dip down into a v-shape while the remaining black lace is see through making this so sexy to wear with just underwear, a body suit, or a pair of leggings underneath. The skirt was designed to fit a range of sizes as the elastic waistband can stretch from a size 25 inch waist up to 34 inches, you could probably even get up to 36 inches of stretch. The skirt has the original Betsey Johnson “punk” label in it however the image of the head is worn off. Please refer to my photo of this, you can see it’s the Punk label but the ink wore off! It is a black on black punk label. When you hold it in the right light you can see the shape of the punk girls head. I guarantee that this set is authentic 1980’s Betsey as I was the one who purchased it directly from a Betsey boutique back in the 80’s! The blouse is a matching black floral mesh lace of the same lace pattern with 3/4 length sleeves that have ruffles at the sleeve openings with 4 buttons closures up along the front along a ruffle front and ruffle around the back of the neck. In my photos I am wearing a black camisole underneath it, the blouse does not have any lining, it’s see through. The label on the blouse is a black & white Betsey Johnson label marked a Size Small, she used this label during the punk label era. Please refer to my photos for images of this. The blouse is meant to be loose fitting and flowy. These two items are original 1980’s pieces that were purchased together at one of Betsey Johnson’s NYC boutiques and have been sitting in my closet since approximately 1985.
