Description: It's an old backgammon set from an Adirondack camp, where years ago people hunkered down for the winters, playing board games, reading, doing jigsaw puzzles, and eating whatever food they had stored away during Fall. The case is made to sit in a bookcase and looks like 2 old books side-by-side. The edges are even marbled like old books. Inside are 15 black and 15 ivory-colored backgammon pieces, 2 sets of dice, and a doubling cube, all housed within a backgammon board. There are also 2 brown corduroy cups for the dice. The outside of the case is a checkerboard. The case measures (when closed) 15-1/2" by 8" by 3-1/4". The backgammon pieces do not feel like wood - I believe they are some form of early heavy plastic. Nothing I am familiar with... Some small flaking/damage to the case - see photos. Buyer is prohibited from telling my kids that I "borrowed" two of their Star Wars Ziploc bags to hold the backgammon pieces.
