The sides curve out and up to the 11-1/4" diameter top rim that is 2-1/2" deep. Made from 1/4" thick glazed ceramic, the rim is trimmed with a red stripe. The interior bottom is stamped as seen with an image of a old Italian house in black outline and an olive branch under the word PASTA.
