Description: Vintage Knapp Monarch Desk Fan L-150-0 For Restoration Fold Out Legs Bad Wiring The label is worn so I’m not sure of the name, the model number is readable though, L-150-0. Since the wiring is totally sketchy and burned I didn’t even think about plugging it in. I’m thinking this is 1940’s era and I’ve seen a similar one online at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History website and it’s almost identical except for the rubber feet. Now the fan blades spin freely so restoration should be easily done. Obviously it’s somewhat distressed but I believe a few nights of work and it could be up and running. Other than the dirty nature there’s some corrosion and the cage is dented. I hate to use the R word, you know “Rare” as so many eBay sellers love to use. Seriously some of these folks have the nerve to call their item “RARE” and there’s fifteen other listings on eBay. Regardless it’s definitely not a common item and finding another one was not possible so I’m not sure how to price it. If you’re familiar about this model please fill me in as I’m always ready to be schooled. I’ll add best offer in a month or so but for now I will see if there’s any interest or comments. Thanks for looking.
