Description: Such a unique and harder to find vintage metal bread box with a glass top so you can easily see what is inside. The lid is hinged and has a chain (touch of rust) to keep the lid upright and not falling too far back when opened. It opens and closes easily, but sometimes it seems to “catch” and makes a noise. It has been used and is not pristine. I think it shows appropriate wear for its age. Measures approximately 16″ in length x 10″ in depth x 7″ tall. There is no manufacturer name on the box. I have enjoyed it for years on my kitchen counter. I have never noticed that it is not perfect and has wear to it. I took a lot of close-up pictures so don’t over judge. Perhaps dwell on the complete pics of the bread box and not the oh-so-close ones. It is an oversized item according to USPS so it will cost more to mail.
