Arabia was an Appalachian man, in 1964, Arabia founded the Willingboro (NJ) Art Alliance - an arts organization that has been active for more than 50 years. Since 1969 he has operated Arabia's Art Gallery in Spencer, West Virginia, and has served on the board of the West Virginia Artists and Craftsmen's Guild.
