Description: Vintage 80s 1980s Jessica McClintock Bridal Victorian Style Gown This dress was designed by renowned fashion designer Jessica McClintock for her Bridal collection, but it can be worn for a range of formal occasions. It's high lace neck and peplum bodice is an homage to designs from the Victorian era, a favorite of McClintock that was frequently referenced in her designs of the 1970s and 1980s with Gunne Sax. The pretty lace of the neck and shoulders is repeated at the end of the gown's sleeves. This dress was designed with a fairly full, A-line skirt. We've photographed it with one of our petticoats underneath so that you can best see its shape, but the petticoat is not included. This dress fastens in back with a zipper that has a small bow at its base. Regarding condition, there's one slight spot on the back of the left shoulder area that looks cleanable with a professional cleaner (hand washing may leave water marks). The fabric is very smooth and has a satin finish. In one small area, it is slightly less smooth than the rest. It doesn't stand out at all -- it's very subtle (too subtle to capture in photos)-- but we mention it for full disclosure. Overall, the gown is beautiful! The original size is not printed on the label, but measurements are similar to a contemporary size 4. Because every figure is different, please... **Check measurements for an accurate fit!
