Description: In truly gorgeous style in surprising condition for its age. As one can see, it obviously needs to be cleaned. I've cleaned some things myself, but this is large and I don't want to damage the lace. All of the measurements are in the item specifics except for the sleeve from shoulder to hem, which is 24 in. There is no structural damage to the dress except for one small rip on the inside of one sleeve, which can be sewn up easily and is shown in the last picture. It is about 3.5 in long and is on the seam. The dress has a train, and zips in the back with snaps at the top of the zipper and cuffs. Diaphanous layer with satin layer underneath. All of the hand sewn pearls on the bodice are authentic. The flower appliques on the dress have imitation pearl centers. There is a small partial tag on the inside, but I can't make any sense of it. The zipper is a metal Abbot zipper, but I could not date it. I would estimate this dress to be somewhere between the mid 1940s to the mid 1960s, but I could be wrong. This is all I know about it. It would be a beautiful piece of history to keep. Please refer to pictures for details.
