Description: The McKee Glass Company introduced its Glasbake line in 1917 to compete with Corning's Pyrex. This casserole dish has distinctive Art Deco design details so I believe it to be from the 1920s or 30s. The stand is made of metal with a chrome finish and has a cut out leaf design flanked by stars. The snail shape handles look like Bakelite. Handles on the glass dish and finial on the lid likewise have Deco shapes. The glass dish and lid both have a beehive shape. The dish has an embossed bottom mark reading "Glasbake 55." It is extremely rare to find this complete set - especially in such beautiful condition. Absolutely flawless!
