Description: WALTHERS PROTO New, Previously owned, HO "Pere Marquette" skirted 52 SEAT Coach # 920-9352 . For all intents and puposes; a Robert Young/ C&O skirted (as-built) PSCM C&O coach. I bought these C&O cars with the intent on repainting them D&RGW as Walthers didn't offer them....however; they cannot be stripped without losing the "metal" as it is paint rather than electro-plate. So much for that idea These Walthers cars ARE VERY NICELY DONE straight C&O Pullman Standard 52 seat coaches tthat were like the English...they settled everywhere.. They roamed the country coast to coast, Canada to Mexico (even IN Mexico) in various paint schemes:. C&O, B&O, NKP - N&W, ACL. SAL, (SCL) C&NW, (SP),D&RGW, Amtrak, and Mexican service. Not sure WHY Walthers marketed these cars like they did. The only thing they weren't. it seems, were Pere Marquette cars as the cars built for Pere Marquette service predated and looked nothing like these.
