Description: Weil Ware California Pottery Creamer Hand Decorated Celadon Green Blossom MCM Measures 5 1/4 inches handle to spout by 2 5/8 inches wide by 3 inches tall Condition: Pre-owned. Vintage Weil Ware of California Pottery Celadon "Blossom" pattern creamer. The shape is a rounded square. Weil was in business from 1930s-1960s. All parts of the Blossom line had hand painted design details. This creamer is in good shape with a tiny glaze pop and a fleabite nick to the lip of the spout. All of this Weil Ware dinnerware has some light glaze crazing (lines running through the glaze). It's common with some vintage dinnerware. This has overall crazing. The stamp is from the very first manufacture of this line somewhere in the 1940s. It has the maker's mark and that the patent has been applied for. That makes this a very early piece.
