Description: WW2 U S Army Mermite insulated container that was used for food and or transporting blood plasma. Designed to keep food warm or blood plasma cold. Originally came with three aluminum containers that nested inside the can. The containers ARE NOT included. The inside of the container is lined with enamel and has no damage. Outside has scuffs, scrapes, stains, and surface rust. Some rust / light corrosion on the bottom. The side latching pieces work well but do require a little muscle to close them. It weighs about 35 pounds not including the packaging and will be a heavy package. Would be best shipped UPS if your address allows.
